the vault · mines / risk game

Dig for gems.
Dodge the beasts.

A 25-tile vault. You choose how many beasts hide under the floor — 3, 5 or 10 — then flip tiles one by one. Every safe gem grows the multiplier; cash out whenever the vault is worth the risk. Rare angels open a blessing round. Optional Summon buys the premium one. Every odd is printed on the door.

Ƶ is fictional play money — no real cash, no cash-out, ever. 18+.

How to play

A dig in three moves.

No tableau charts, no side-bet maze. One decision before the dig (how many beasts), then nerves on every tile.

1

Pick your beasts

3 steady, 5 classic, or 10 reckless. More beasts = bigger multipliers per safe tile, and a thinner path through the vault.

2

Dig for gems

Flip one tile at a time. Every safe gem climbs the live multiplier and the cash-out button. One beast ends the round.

3

Cash out or push

Take what’s in the vault whenever nerves say so — or keep digging. Hit a beast and the stake is gone. Nerves are the whole game.

The only symbols that matter

💎 Gem — safe tile, multiplier climbs. 👹 Beast — round over, stake gone. 😇 Angel — rare free bonus (or Summoned): vault opens for blessed picks with no beasts. Inside a blessing you can also hit ✨ Halo (+1.5× flat) or a 💣 Bomber that banks its whole row and column.

Risk rows

Three temperatures. Same honest edge.

The UI offers three printed beast counts — not a free-form 1–24 slider. Base RTP stays 96% on every row; only the shape of the climb changes.

3 beasts · steady

The long walk

1 safe → ×1.09 · 5 safe → ×1.94

Room to breathe. Multipliers climb gently; a good path for learning the vault and banking small wins.

5 beasts · classic

The house default

1 safe → ×1.20 · 5 safe → ×3.29

The balance point — enough risk that every gem feels earned, enough room that a 4–5 dig is a real session highlight.

10 beasts · reckless

Thin ice

1 safe → ×1.60 · 5 safe → ×16.98

Half the board is trouble. Surviving a few tiles pays hard. This is where the leaderboard “Biggest digs” is written.

What a dig can pay

Depth mechanics

Angels, blessings, and the premium buy

The base dig is the whole game. The angel is the rare vault-open. Summon is the honest premium path — edge printed, never hidden.

😇 free angel

Angel’s Blessing, built into the seed

≈7% of rounds hide an angel on the first non-beast tile of the shuffle. Dig it before a beast and the vault opens — 3 blessed picks, zero beasts, additive gems / bombers / halos. Funded by the 4% base edge so combined RTP stays under 100%.

✨ premium summon

Summon the Angel when you want the show

Pay 1.5× your bet (total 2.5×) to guarantee presence. Still dig it up. Premium blessing: 4 picks, richer board, bombers bank the full line at full value, add cap +18×. Fee stays house-positive by design — edge printed on the door.

💎 same RTP every depth

No dig is secretly worse

Cash-out after k safe tiles pays bet × (1 / P(survive k)) × 0.96. Base RTP is exactly 96% at every depth and every beast count. Strategy is taste, not a trap.

🔒 committed before you dig

Provably fair, re-runnable

Beast positions, angel presence, angel tile, and every blessing reward are fixed by the seed hash before the bet lands. 21M-round sim locks every mode strictly below 100%. Re-derive it yourself on /fair.

Inside the vault

Fresh screens from the live game

Captured with a funded QA session against production — cabinet only (leaders rail hidden), high-res PNG. Re-shoot with the Playwright recipe in NEXT-SESSION-PLAY-PAGES whenever the cabinet changes.

Provably fair

Committed before you dig. Yours to re-run.

Tiles 0–24 get a downward Fisher–Yates from the first 24 floats of the HMAC stream. The first m entries are the beasts. Float 24 is the free angel-presence roll (< 0.07); the angel tile is perm[m]. Blessing rewards are two floats per tile from index 25. Summon only forces the presence roll — the tile stays committed and un-huntable. Engine mn-3, locked by scripts/verify-fair-mines.ts over 21M rounds.

FAQ

Straight answers

What is the RTP of Mines?

Base digs return exactly 96% at every cash-out depth and every beast count — no row is secretly worse. With the free Angel’s Blessing folded in, best-play is about 98.28%. Summon the Angel (1.5× fee on top of the bet) lands around 95.5% fee-inclusive. Every mode is sim-locked strictly under 100%.

Are the beast positions fixed in advance?

Yes. A Fisher–Yates shuffle over 25 tiles is driven by the pre-committed seed stream before you dig a single tile. The beasts cannot move as you flip. Rotate seeds on /fair and re-shuffle it yourself.

What is the Angel’s Blessing?

About 1 round in 14 hides a free angel under a safe tile. Dig it up and the vault opens: 3 blessed picks with no beasts — gems, halos (+1.5×), or bombers that bank a whole row + column. Rewards are additive and capped, so the blessing cannot blow RTP past 100%.

What does Summon the Angel buy?

A 1.5×-bet premium (round costs 2.5× your stake total) guarantees an angel is somewhere on the board — you still have to dig it before a beast. It opens the premium blessing: 4 picks, a juicier board, and bombers that collect the full line at full value. We print the buy’s edge (~95.5% RTP) instead of hiding it.

Is Mines free real money?

No. Ƶ is fictional play money only — no cash, no cash-out, ever. You get Ƶ500 free every week.

Ready to dig?
